An evening dedicated to Swiss watchmaking, craftsmanship and personal encounters
07.10.2026
On September 30, Schullin welcomed Frédérique Constant to the Looshaus for an evening dedicated to Swiss watchmaking. Within the distinctive setting of the historic building, members of the press and invited guests had the opportunity to discover the Geneva-based manufacture, its philosophy and a selection of its timepieces up close.
Watchmaking up close
The afternoon began with an exclusive press presentation, offering an introduction to the collection as well as time for individual conversations and interviews. In the evening, Johannes B. Schullin and Niels Eggerding, CEO of Frédérique Constant, welcomed the invited guests and opened the second part of the event.
Since its founding in 1988, Frédérique Constant has combined traditional Swiss watchmaking with technical development and a contemporary approach to design. Alongside classic complications, the manufacture’s in-house movements and continuous pursuit of innovation have become defining elements of the brand.
At the Looshaus, this approach could be experienced firsthand. Selected models were presented in specially arranged showcases, while guests were invited to handle, try on and compare further timepieces. In conversation with the experts from Frédérique Constant, the focus extended beyond technical details and functions to the experience of discovering a mechanical watch on the wrist.
The architecture of the Looshaus provided a distinctive setting for the occasion. Surrounded by its characteristic wood panelling, mirrors and historic details, guests were able to explore the collection while exchanging impressions and insights into the world of watchmaking.
Accompanied by catering from Lucullus and floral arrangements by Blumenkraft, the evening came to a close over conversations and a final look at the collection.
A memorable evening dedicated to Swiss watchmaking came to an end. Those wishing to discover the world of Frédérique Constant for themselves and experience the timepieces up close are warmly invited to visit us at the historic Looshaus in Vienna.
