Guilloche II

Inspired by the trail a goldsmith's file leaves behind as it grinds through metal, the „Guilloche II“ bangle tells a story of the relationship between a Goldsmith and their tools. The geometric and overly symmetric design of the bracelet contrasts the rough and imperfect process of handmaking an object. This highlights the difficulty, skill, and precision required to handcraft a seemingly simple design to make it look perfectly symmetric and polished.
